The 115th Birthday of an Icon to Women

Today would be the 115th birthday of Amelia Earheart. This woman has been nothing short but an inspiration for several young girls. And how could she not? She was apart of a a three person flight crew in 1928 that crossed the Atlantic right after Charles Lindbergh. And four years later she by herself flew to Wales from Newfoundland becoming the first woman to pull off a solo trans-Atlantic flight. Earheart was the embodiment of courage. So in honor of this amazing woman Google has put her on their home page for today. If you'd like to read more about Earheart you can visit the offical website by clicking here.
