This is a photo from a US Naval hospital in San Diego in 1944, it's three nurses modeling the new uniforms.

Learn Your Size When it Comes to Vintage Clothing.

If you're interested in buying some vintage patterns online, you should be careful. The reason being is that size's have changed. Back in the 1940's a size 14 was a bust measurement of 32 inches which would make that a size 4 by today's standards.
